On September 20, 2024, the Second National Volunteer Conference for Plasma Donation and 2024 Plasma-derived Product Industry Development Forum, co-hosted by the China Association for Vaccines and its Plasma-derived Product Branch, were held in Jinggangshan, Ji'an City, Jiangxi Province, China. As a key player in the plasma-derived product industry, Yuanda Shuyang Pharmaceutical actively participated in this prestigious event, demonstrating its exceptional contributions to the sector.

The conference aimed to raise public awareness of plasma donation as a vital public welfare initiative, foster a positive public perception of plasma donation, and honor volunteers and industry professionals for their significant contributions. It sought to collectively promote the healthy and sustainable development of plasma donation in China while exploring the latest advancements in plasmapheresis center management and the R&D and production of plasma-derived products. Highlights and Future Prospects

In the afternoon, a thematic forum on the production and R&D of plasma-derived products took place. Discussions focused on advanced topics, including the current status of global plasmapheresis and projected trends for 2030, the current status and challenges of the plasma-derived product industry, the application of nanofiltration technology in virus filtration, and the impact of pharmaceutical excipients on quality control in plasma-derived products. Representatives from Yuanda Shuyang Pharmaceutical collaborated with industry peers to explore strategies for further enhancing the quality control of plasma-derived products and ensuring viral safety, and discussed the latest technologies and advancements in the R&D and production of these products.

Yuanda Shuyang Pharmaceutical will continue to actively address the industry's developmental needs by enhancing internal R&D capabilities, optimizing production processes, and strengthening the management and development of plasmapheresis centers to ensure a consistent supply of high-quality plasma-derived products.
