On July 20, 2022, a once-in-a-millennium heavy rainstorm struck Zhengzhou, Henan Province, resulting in severe urban flooding, transportation disruptions, damaged infrastructure, and casualties. The city's production and business activities as well as medical and health services were severely affected.

During this unprecedented heavy rainstorm, several medical institutions in Zhengzhou experienced backflow of mud and water, causing extensive damage to medical equipment, instruments, and medicines. The accessibility of healthcare services for the public, especially for critically ill patients, was greatly impacted.

In order to fulfill its social responsibility and contribute to the post-disaster reconstruction of Zhengzhou, Sichuan Yuanda Shuyang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. made a targeted donation of RMB 500,000 to the Zhengzhou Charity Federation on August 26, 2022. The donation will be used to support the post-disaster reconstruction of medical and health institutions in Zhengzhou.
