At 16:30 on August 3, 2014, a 6.5-magnitude earthquake struck Ludian County, Zhaotong City, Yunnan Province. The earthquake caused 1.0884 million people in Ludian County, Qiaojia County, Zhaoyang District and Yongshan County of Zhaotong City, and Huize County of Qujing City to be affected. The people's lives and properties suffered enormous damage, and the task of providing relief and assistance to those in distress faced daunting challenges.

Yunnan and Sichuan provinces are closely connected, and the people of Yuanda Shuyang share a deep emotional connection with the affected areas. "Compassion and benevolence" is the unwavering business philosophy of Yuanda Shuyang, and "assistance is our obligation when others are in need" is the company's constant social responsibility. After the disaster occurred, the company immediately responded to the coordinated deployment of Yunnan Province Emergency Office and health administrative departments, and urgently allocated human tetanus immunoglobulin products to the affected areas. At the same time, General Manager Jiang Dexi quickly convened a temporary executive meeting and decided to donate 1,200 vials of 2.5g Human Immunoglobulin (pH4) for Intravenous Injection, worth RMB 673,200, to the affected areas. The company also organized all employees to raise funds for the affected areas.

After the call to "show love to the disaster-stricken areas" was made, the company's top executives took the lead in making donations. Various departments, centers, and marketing offices actively responded. Within half a day, a total of RMB 236,329 in donations was collected. The breakdown of the donations is as follows: the production base contributed RMB 127,139; the marketing offices contributed RMB 12,700; Changning Plasmapheresis Center contributed RMB 14,420; Jiangyou Plasmapheresis Center contributed RMB 13,400; Santai Plasmapheresis Center contributed RMB 9,100; Anxian Plasmapheresis Center contributed RMB 7,850; Jiange Plasmapheresis Center contributed RMB 7,300; Rongan Plasmapheresis Center contributed RMB 7,280; Guanghan Plasmapheresis Center contributed RMB 6,800; Guiping Plasmapheresis Center contributed RMB 5,300; Cangxi Plasmapheresis Center contributed RMB 4,860; Kaijiang Plasmapheresis Center contributed RMB 3,590; Danling Plasmapheresis Center contributed RMB 3,490; Zizhong Plasmapheresis Center contributed RMB 3,100; and General Advisor Li Kaixing donated RMB 10,000.

On August 11, the Yunnan Provincial Health Department and the RCSC Yunnan Branch jointly held a donation ceremony in Kunming to donate medicines and medical equipment to the earthquake-stricken areas in Ludian. More than 10 caring companies, including Yuanda Shuyang, participated in the donation activity for the earthquake-stricken areas in Ludian. They delivered the donated medicines and employees' love funds to the Yunnan Provincial Health Department and the RCSC Yunnan Branch on-site. Around 11 o'clock in the morning, vehicles laden with donated supplies and the deep care of Yuanda Shuyang set off from Kunming to the earthquake-stricken area in Ludian, Zhaotong, to deliver much-needed assistance and the boundless warmth of love.
